Tried & Tested: Nails Inc & Barry M!

IM BACKKKKKK! Yesterday I got back from V festival, it was the most amazzzzing experience ever and the best time of my life! I will most certainly be doing a blog post on my festival outfits of the weekend once pictures are uploaded by my friends :) But anyway, the other day me and my 9 year old little sister decided to try out some nail varnishes together  before we went on holiday but I completely forgot to blog about them! I am wearing Barry M (shade 305 Pink Flamingo), which is such a gorgeousss colour, I am such a fan of pink I just can't resist the amazing shades of nail varnishes out there and this one was bought for me be my friends for my birthday along with some other nail varnishes in the Barry M range. At £2.99 these nail varnishes really are very affordable, and I think they are just the same quality as some other brands out there, the colour is so vibrant and perfect for summer and it lasts agessss! My little sister is wearing Nails Inc ( shade"St. James") and picked this colour out herself, at £11.00 this is a lot more pricey than the Barry M nail varnish and to be honest, there is little difference! However, the nail varnish is extremely durable (she is 9 years old and it has lasted 2 weeks without much chipping!) so I would definitely recommend this product, I got this nail varnish as a magazine freebie and personally would only buy a few more shades of these nail varnishes, but if you don't want to pay a mahoosive £11 for nail polish I am sure there will be cheaper red nail varnish alternatives out there! :)

This Weeks Buys!

From my recent posts you will know I have been on holiday, and have spent a few days in Lonon which meant a lot of shopping, also yesterday I went shopping again to pick up a few last minute essentials for V Festival on Friday! As promised, I will be sharing with you the bits and bobs I picked up, unfortunately I may not be blogging much for a week or so as it's A Level results day on Thursday and I have lotsss of preparation to do for University etc, and also I will be heading off to V on Friday for the weekend eeek!

(Left to Right)
-Chunky gold chain flower statement necklace- WAS £15 NOW £3- Dorothy Perkins
There are a lot of gold chains on the high street, but if like me your not into massive gold chains, this necklace adds a softer and more feminine touch to the trend, statement jewellery is my fave!
-Sleeveless denim jacket- £14.99- New Look
At V Festival I will add this little jacket to my outfits, not too hot or cold...
-Twist lock winged holdall (Tan)- £42- Topshop
Normally I would NEVER spend this much on a bag, but I absolutely love this!
-Cath Kidson Honeysuckle Lip Balm- £5
This smells gorgeousss and is a perfect little handbag filler, also comes in "blueberry" and "rose" flavour.

And there's more!...

(Left to Right)
-Bag- £9.99- Deichman
For the festival I needed a small secure bag to keep little essensials in, phone, money etc, and not only does this look festival chic but is perfect for purpose.
-Bead Headband- £4.99- New Look
I will also add this little hair accessory when at V festival although I am dreading maintaining my hair for 3 days!
-"E" Necklace- £5.50- Topshop
Just a cute accessory I couldn't resit.
-Monsoon Lip Balm (Oriental)- £3.00- Monsoon
Again a cute hand bag filler which smells lovely, has gorgeous packaging and comes in 3 other shades.
-Floral chiffon shorts- £10.00- Primark
One of my festival outfits... these chiffon shorts have a lovely pattern and are the type of shorts which appear like a skirt...such a bargain!
-Strappy Coral day dress- £12.99 H & M
This dress has appeared in my older post "OOTD, London, Day 3" but I only bought it the other week and again will be one of my festival outfits.

OOTD: London, Day 3

Yet again my OOTD post is late! Ooops, sorry! :) Well anyway Friday was my last day in London, which I had been excited for allll week, shopping. Firstly, we paid a visit to Covent Garden which I must say has the cutest little shops ever, and although I absolutely hate market stalls, I must admit I saw some really amazing items on the market there and was particularly excited by the MAC cosmetics store there, I honestly just thought it was only available on MAC counters in department stores! After that, we paid a visit to M & M's world which although this visit was mostly for my brother and sister, I really enjoyed it! It is like 3/4 floors of M&M's sweet merchandise and the whole place has the scent of chocolate... mmmm. I also paid a visit to the Planet Hollywood restaurant for lunch which has the most amazing food ever! Oxford and Regent street were next and I was sooooo excited, especially to visit the Topshop store in Oxford Circus.... 5 floors of shopping heaven. I literally got lost. I definitely could spend a whole day in there, faveeee place ever! I will shortly do a post on what I purchased but for now I will share with you my outfit of the day. The weather in London happened to be gorgeous on Friday, it was sunshine and soooo hot! So I opted simply for a casual, coral coloured day dress and sandals, which I accessorised with plently of bangles, a belt and other jewellery, I will also be wearing this outfit at V Festival next weekend, eeeek so excited! :)

What I am wearing:
- Coral strappy day dress- £12.99- H&M
- Belt- Primark (bought a few years ago)
- Bangles- Miscellaneous

OOTD: London, Day 2

London Day 2! So here is my second outfit of the day, I must apologise that these posts have been  a day late and aren't the best photos but I have been in such a rush to get out for the train on a morning, and then getting back late I just haven't had the time! :( Anyway, my second day in London was spent at London Zoo! It was amazzzing, the animals were awesome! (I have included pictures below), and although it took a while to get there and to walk back which meant I had a veryyy long day, it was totally worth it! Also I was super excited when I realised that London Zoo was home to "The Reptile House" where Harry Potter filmed in the first episode, and that the komodo dragons were used in the James Bond "Skyfall" film, hehe super geek. So, my outfit. I decided that because it was forecasted to be warm with some cloud I opted for my jeans, sandals and one of my faveee mint green cami's, addiction? Yep. But in my defence the colour is soooo lovely and summery, and can be worn year by year, they are so diverse I just love it!

What I am wearing:
V neck cami (Mint green)- £18- Topshop
Gold embellished sandals- £17.99- New Look
High waisted super-soft navy skinny jeans- £22.99- New Look

Also, I thought I would include some pictures of the animals at the zoo,  enjoy! :)

OOTD: London, Day 1

I'm on holiday this week!!!! Yes, I still may be in England staying with family, but hey seen as they live it Kent it means I get to go to London 3 days this week! I absolutely love London, I just think there is always something going on and so many amazing places to visit, definitely my favourite city, fingers crossed I can afford to live there one day!.. Pfft...yeah right. Well anyway yesterday was my first day of the week in London, since I am visiting with family I was taken to The Science Museum (I have a younger brother), but if I am honest it wasn't too much of a boring experience! Then I got to visit Harrods AKA any girls heaven. Yes, it may be wayyyyy too expensive, but they have an amazing food hall, makeup section, perfume section and 2 rooms full of designer handbags, that's not even to mention the amazing accessories, shoes, clothes and toy section! Hehe, it is so amazing in there every time I go to London I have to go in, although my visit was some what dampened by my aching feet! Gaaahh, I WILL buy something in there one day this week, I am determined to spend my birthday money! Definitely got my eye on a Michael Kors watch... hehe, well anyway here is my Outfit Of The Day, I decided that because it was sunny/rainy weather I would stick with skinny jeans, an art deco inspired lace tee and converse for comfort, how wrong was I, a message to you all... do not ever wear Converse for the first time when your off for a huge shopping spree.. I was in agony!

Navy supersoft high waist skinny jeans- £22.99- New Look
White patterned lace top- £22- Topshop Petite
Pink Converse- £45- Office
