MARIAH CAREY FOR MAC

Bit Of Bubbly, MAC, £17

I am waaaaaaay behind on the Mariah Carey hype, of course I heard when the collection was announced, but I never even bothered looking as i'm never really bothered about celebrity collections for MAC as I tend to just stick to my MAC faves.  However, I quickly started to see Instagram posts flooding into my feed about how great the collection was, and most importantly, I noticed that the lipstick packaging was glittery.... that sealed the deal for me.

How beautiful is it?! I just had to have one, so I instantly looked online, of course they were sold out. However my amazing friend managed to pick me one up from the MAC store at St Pancras in London, so although there is limited availability online, definitely check in store!

The lipstick is shade is 'Bit Of Bubbly', which I absolutely love as I tend to wear MAC cremesheen lipsticks, and it is a lovely nudey pink shade. Personally, out of all of the Mariah lipsticks I prefer this one, as apart from 'I Get So OOC' a shimmering brown shade, the lipsticks are gold or peach which I tend to find do not flatter my skin tone at all. The lipstick also has a beautiful flower engraved in it, sooooo girly!

Apart from lipsticks, Mariah has an array of other products in the collection including eyelashes, eye shadow, lipgloss and bronzer. Have you got anything from the collection?

MAC- PERVETTE

MAC PERVETTE- £15.50

Ever had that feeling when you find a long lost MAC lipstick?... the one you thought that was long gone and you've been mentally punishing yourself over wasting £15.50 ever since? Well I experienced this the other day, I was actually on the hunt for my winter bobble hat at the time when I came across my first ever MAC lipstick- Pervette, which was bought as a gift for me 4 YEARS AGO.  It popped up in the depths of my underwear draw of all places, considering I have moved house since then, I was pretty lucky.

Please no lectures on the grossness of ignoring the use-by date, I have cleaned it with a cotton wool bud everyone don't worry. And i'm sorry, but there is no way I'm letting it go to waste!

Before writing this post I actually had to check that MAC actually still sold Pervette... they do. Pervette is a soft bright pink glossy lipstick with violet shimmer, I remember at the time I got it that it was a bit daring with it having metallic properties, but now I am 100% embracing it. According to the MAC website, this is the iconic lipstick which made MAC famous, and I can definitely see why!

REVIEW: MODELS OWN COLOUR CHROME COLLECTION

Models own Colour Chrome Pink- £4.99- Models Own

The amount of Models Own nail polish reviews I do is literally ridiculous! There are just so many variants of nail polishes to try, and with them being my favourite nail polish brand, I just wanted to share with you some of the amazing products they have on offer!

I got this nail polish at Christmas- one of the polishes from the colour chrome collection, which provides a liquid metal chrome effect. I really didn't know which shade to go for, so I also bought this polish in shade 'copper' which carries more rose gold hues, along with the pink polish which is featured in this post. You can discover more about the chrome collection and the shades they have on offer online.

At first I was so confused... when I opened the bottle the colour was simply silver with drops of pink in it, so make sure you shake the bottle well before use. When I started applying the polish I again found that the polish wasn't leaving much colour- however the colour actually develops into its pinky tones so bear that in mind!

I absolutely love the metallic effect this polish gives,  it also makes your nails feel super smooth and remains chip resistant for over a week. When applying you may wish to add 2-3 coats rather than 1 to intensify  the colour and effect, although this is absolutely down to personal preference- I went for 2.

...once again, highly recommended!

Clothes Haul: Part 2

Rosemary Ribbed Peplum Cami Top White- £7.99- Missguided| Vanessa Pink Tailored Coat- £34.99- Missguided| Rorry Ponte Bardot Bodycon Dress Black- £9.99- Missguided

I am still amazed that I managed to pick up a coat, top and dress for just £50! My ripped jeans from Topshop were £42 themselves!! It just goes to show you can find items at online sites such as Missguided or Boohoo for a fraction of the cost of something from a  high street store such as River Island or Topshop for example.

I was thrilled when they arrived as I am always a little dubious about buying clothing online as sometimes I have a right carry on getting them to fit! But they all fitted me perfectly and I'm in love with them all! Firstly the peplum is just such a great piece all year round for any occasion I just love how great it makes your figure look whether you wear it casual with jeans or dressy with a cute skirt. The boyfriend coat is also a style which is very popular for autumn, admittedly it is not in the slightest bit waterproof but is really great for the transition from summer into autumn and the cold weather! Finally the dress is just a fantastic price at just £9.99, with starting uni again in a couple of weeks I need to stock up on my going out clothes and with off the shoulder designs being very on trend I actually found that it was a flattering style for me, you can never go wrong with a bodycon  LBD.

What have you all been buying recently? Have you found a bargain at Missguided? Leave me a comment below! :)

Nail Polish Review: No7 Me Me Me

I'm wearing: No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour (Me Me Me), £6.00, Boots.

I just love reviewing beauty products, and in particular I love playing around with nail varnishes. I am definitely not one of those bloggers who is crazy good at designing different nail art for their nails every day of the week, in fact, I tend to wear the same colour for weeks on end before being bothered to change it! I actually got this one when I came across the buy one get one half price offer on No7 in Boots this week, I just loved the bold pink shade!

I must admit though that I was mortified to see the price of No7 products, I don't know about you but I just expected Boots own brand to be a little less pricey! This nail polish cost £6 which is affordable but their lipglosses cost around £9! Maybe I am just a cheapskate...

So, not only does this colour live up to its name 'Me Me Me' by standing out really well with just one coat, it also stays on really well with no chips so far! I also think that the bottle size is larger than the usual nail polish, I don't know maybe its just me. But anyway, I seriously recommend buying one of these in whatever shade, although being massively girly I had to have pink! If you would like to have a look at the other shades in their 'stay perfect' collection, you can find them on the Boots website HERE.

Have you tried No7 nail polishes? What is your favourite brand of nail polish? :)
