After reading all of the coverage from the MTV Video Music Awards, which was held in Brooklyn New York this year, I couldn't help but focus on what everyone was wearing! There were certainly some fashion mistakes, and I am sure you may have heard the outcry surrounding Miley Cyrus' controversial performance of the evening wearing just skin coloured latex lingerie, but there were some really amazing outfits of the night which I really wanted to share with you! While some celebs competed for the most extravagant or outrageous outfit of the evening, others channelled old Hollywood glamour into their outfits, and in my opinion, some of the best dressed celebs were Katy Perry, Ciara, Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora and Taylor Swift... here is what they wore! :)
Miley Cyrus- Dolce and Gabbana- Vintage Jewelled crop top and leggings/ platform Giuseppe Zanotti shoes/ Lorraine Schwartz jewellery
Lady Gaga- Prabel Gurung- satin gown with tulle train & rubber appliques
Katy Perry- Emanuel Ungaro- Brooches on monk neck printed cady- £3296 & Strappy blak and gold sandals
Ciara- Glittering white and silver gown complete with feather section
Selena Gomez- Atelier Versace- Dark Blue floor length gown complete with sheer cut out bustier detail... My favourite outfit of the night...
Taylor Swift- Herve Leger By Max Azria- Plunging Navy Blue Gown
Ellie Goulding- White and silver spiky dress teamed with matching heels
Rita Ora- Alexandre Vauthier Couture- Extremely long feathered train and plunging jewelled top dress

Well, after reading this story in the news I was shocked to find that the contents of Kim Kardashian's makeup bag is not what I expected, as all of the products are actually under £20/ $30!!! Yep, I couldn't believe it either, she has millions! V FESTIVAL 2013!!!!
Most. Amazing. Experience. EVER. At the weekend me and my two friends travelled to V Festival at Weston Park in Staffordshire, Friday- Monday, seriously I totally recommend you go to V fest 2014, I know I want to go back right now! Personally I didn't think that I was going to like it that much due to the whole "camping experience" and although the trip didn't get off to a good start as it took 3 hours in the dark to find a spot for our tent, and until 1.30 AM to put up the tent and having to carry bags and bags of stuff through the mud for miles in the cold, the weekend definitely made up for it! We saw sooooo many amazing artists, some of which being Scounting For Girls, Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, The Script and Beyoncé, and honestly the whole "festival atmosphere" was awesome! Everyone was just so carefree and excited, it really was a great experience and I have sooo many amazing memories. So courtesy of my friend, I can share with you the pictures of the weekend, and will do a post about my festival style over the next couple of days, enjoy!!!! :)

Tried & Tested: Nails Inc & Barry M!
IM BACKKKKKK! Yesterday I got back from V festival, it was the most amazzzzing experience ever and the best time of my life! I will most certainly be doing a blog post on my festival outfits of the weekend once pictures are uploaded by my friends :) But anyway, the other day me and my 9 year old little sister decided to try out some nail varnishes together before we went on holiday but I completely forgot to blog about them! I am wearing Barry M (shade 305 Pink Flamingo), which is such a gorgeousss colour, I am such a fan of pink I just can't resist the amazing shades of nail varnishes out there and this one was bought for me be my friends for my birthday along with some other nail varnishes in the Barry M range. At £2.99 these nail varnishes really are very affordable, and I think they are just the same quality as some other brands out there, the colour is so vibrant and perfect for summer and it lasts agessss! My little sister is wearing Nails Inc ( shade"St. James") and picked this colour out herself, at £11.00 this is a lot more pricey than the Barry M nail varnish and to be honest, there is little difference! However, the nail varnish is extremely durable (she is 9 years old and it has lasted 2 weeks without much chipping!) so I would definitely recommend this product, I got this nail varnish as a magazine freebie and personally would only buy a few more shades of these nail varnishes, but if you don't want to pay a mahoosive £11 for nail polish I am sure there will be cheaper red nail varnish alternatives out there! :)

And there's more!...

OOTD: London, Day 3
Yet again my OOTD post is late! Ooops, sorry! :) Well anyway Friday was my last day in London, which I had been excited for allll week, shopping. Firstly, we paid a visit to Covent Garden which I must say has the cutest little shops ever, and although I absolutely hate market stalls, I must admit I saw some really amazing items on the market there and was particularly excited by the MAC cosmetics store there, I honestly just thought it was only available on MAC counters in department stores! After that, we paid a visit to M & M's world which although this visit was mostly for my brother and sister, I really enjoyed it! It is like 3/4 floors of M&M's sweet merchandise and the whole place has the scent of chocolate... mmmm. I also paid a visit to the Planet Hollywood restaurant for lunch which has the most amazing food ever! Oxford and Regent street were next and I was sooooo excited, especially to visit the Topshop store in Oxford Circus.... 5 floors of shopping heaven. I literally got lost. I definitely could spend a whole day in there, faveeee place ever! I will shortly do a post on what I purchased but for now I will share with you my outfit of the day. The weather in London happened to be gorgeous on Friday, it was sunshine and soooo hot! So I opted simply for a casual, coral coloured day dress and sandals, which I accessorised with plently of bangles, a belt and other jewellery, I will also be wearing this outfit at V Festival next weekend, eeeek so excited! :)
What I am wearing:
- Coral strappy day dress- £12.99- H&M
- Belt- Primark (bought a few years ago)
- Bangles- Miscellaneous

OOTD: London, Day 1
I'm on holiday this week!!!! Yes, I still may be in England staying with family, but hey seen as they live it Kent it means I get to go to London 3 days this week! I absolutely love London, I just think there is always something going on and so many amazing places to visit, definitely my favourite city, fingers crossed I can afford to live there one day!.. Pfft...yeah right. Well anyway yesterday was my first day of the week in London, since I am visiting with family I was taken to The Science Museum (I have a younger brother), but if I am honest it wasn't too much of a boring experience! Then I got to visit Harrods AKA any girls heaven. Yes, it may be wayyyyy too expensive, but they have an amazing food hall, makeup section, perfume section and 2 rooms full of designer handbags, that's not even to mention the amazing accessories, shoes, clothes and toy section! Hehe, it is so amazing in there every time I go to London I have to go in, although my visit was some what dampened by my aching feet! Gaaahh, I WILL buy something in there one day this week, I am determined to spend my birthday money! Definitely got my eye on a Michael Kors watch... hehe, well anyway here is my Outfit Of The Day, I decided that because it was sunny/rainy weather I would stick with skinny jeans, an art deco inspired lace tee and converse for comfort, how wrong was I, a message to you all... do not ever wear Converse for the first time when your off for a huge shopping spree.. I was in agony!
Navy supersoft high waist skinny jeans- £22.99- New Look
White patterned lace top- £22- Topshop Petite
Pink Converse- £45- Office

This Weeks Fashion Fix...
So, what's going on in the fashion world? Not a day goes by when you don't hear of new products that are hitting the high- street, or the new sell out item which alllll of the celebrities have been seen wearing, so here I will fill you in with what I have spotted going on this week!
Monday 05-August
- Designer Charlotte Taylor, is known for her playful approach to fashion, designing a range full of cutesy tea dresses and printed blouses. Today, she opens her first store on Chelsea's Ellis Street, although I am not familiar with her designs, I am sure fans of her will be thrilled to find her items finally on the high street, you can also check out her online range HERE .
Blue Marble Mini Dress- £126- Charlotte Taylor |
- Sunglasses lover? Yep me too, as you can see from my previous post HERE, I already recently just bought some sunglasses, but I am definitely interested in this particular piece of fashion information.... "Le Specs" an Aussie shades expert is finally launching it's first affordable range in the UK, available from Urban Outfitters. You could pick up a pair of these "Ziggy" Sunglasses for just £48, which is an affordable price for designer sunnies!
Le Specs- £48- "Ziggy" |
- Rachel Jackson's jewellery line goes from market stall to high-street this week, with the launch of her collection for Warehouse under the name "Cinderela B", available online and in stores. You can view the range HERE which is priced between £22- £65. My favourite item is the Cinderela Hummingbird bracelet £22, love it!
Cinderela Hummingbird Bracelet- £22- Warehouse |
- You may have seen my previous post about Kate Middleton's choice of dress HERE , she is such an inspiration in the fashion world and now her oh so popular engagement dress by Iabel Issa, has been created in collaboration with US high street store Banana Republic... which means it's a lot more affordable at £75. Personally, I am not keen as it's not my type of thing, but if your interested you can find it HERE .
Banana Republic- £75 |
- And for my male followers and any of you girls out there who occasionally like to purchase clothes of the opposite sex, Barbour is launching "Department B", a collection focusing upon patches, pockets and zips, one jacket of which was worn by Daniel Craig in "James Bond- Skyfall" film.. if it's in a size XS/S why not...

Minimalist Baroque Sunglasses!
Like any other girl I really wish I could have enough money to afford designer clothes and accessories, literally I have a list of wants, but really, that isn't going to happen! Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I spotted these sunglasses "Baroque graphic round sunglasses", and absolutely fell in love with them, only thing is they are Prada, and cost £210. No wayyy would I ever pay that much for some sunglasses! I really do love these and they have been seen on lots of celebs, some of which include Rihanna, Eva Mendes, Kelly Rowland, Hilary Duff, Gwen Steffani, and Kourtney Kardashian. I told myself I needed to find a cheaper version of these, so I searched Ebay and Amazon as I always turn to these sites to find the cheapest price, I was pleased to find they were so cheap! I bought these ones from Amazon for literally around £2.20 and they were free delivery, bargain! When I ordered my sunglasses I wasn't really expecting much, as with fake designer items, they can look cheap and tacky, however I was pleased when they arrived! They look so similar and I love the purple tint to the lenses, my favourite aspect of these sunglasses is the swirl on the side, they look so vintage and different to anything I have seen on the high- street. Okay so they aren't Prada, but hey, for £2.20 I am sooooo pleased, love them. :)
