Who doesn't love to accessorize? I am honestly an addict. I always like to accessorize my outfits with watches, earrings, bracelets, bangles and rings as they are perfect for transforming an outfit. Anyway, my accessory of the day is the gem, chain and ribbon necklace below, which was a Christmas present from my cousins :) As you will have noticed, the high-street is full of jumpers embellished with necklaces, they are such a key trend this season as well as chunky chain necklaces, however as I don't have one of these jumpers yet, I had to improvise with today's outfit! :)

My Christmas in pictures...
Just a quick post to share with you my take on 'my week in pictures' and instead, I'm sharing with you an insight to what my Christmas was like! It always interests me to find out what other people get up too over the festive season so feel free to leave me a comment below :)
So, an explanation of my pictures... Judging by the festive Santa hat you can tell I am crazy about Christmas and started my festivities wayyyyy back in November! Hehe, following these are my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day pictures, including; Christmas morning, Christmas dinner, my amazing kittens opening their prezzies, a cheeky picture of my Christmas Day outfit, everyone needs one right? and one of my favourite presents, my new Michael Kors watch, I absolutely adore it. Also I have included a picture of my gingerbread creation! Such a tricky job, but I have always wanted to make a gingerbread house, yet never really got round to it, soooo much fun! :) Lastly is my plan for New Year's Eve, might not be everyone's idea of fun, but I'd rather watch my way through my favourite Christmas DVDs collection! Hope you all had a great Christmas, have an awesome 2014! :)

Christmassy bargain...
Today I finally took a trip to a shopping centre to have a little browse of the sales, wanna know my secret? Although I adore shopping and fashion I hate sales. I do love a bargain but I cannot be bothered to sift through rails and racks of last seasons clothes that nobody wants... Hence why they are in the sale...it is also always super busy! Today though I found the most perfect item. Reindeer print jogging bottoms, with silver glitter and red gems, being the Christmas obsessed girl I am I had already spotted these at Topshop before Christmas but refused to pay £35, so today when I spotted them for just £15, just by chance, I had to buy them! Loveeee them! Moral of the story, give the sales a chance...

Festive Nails: Silver Fox
Eugh I have had soooo much on recently it's unreal! Like seriously, why does my University insist on doing exams before Christmas? I literally feel like I have missed the whole build up to Christmas :( Anyways, between revision the other day I decided to perk myself up a but and add a little sparkly nail varnish to my finger nails to make me feel a little more Christmassy, who doesn't love glitter?! The one I am wearing below is a Models Own polish (Shade NPQ07- Silver Fox) which retails at £5 in the glitter collection which is available online at the Models Own Website and at some Boots stores. I personally love Models Own nail varnish as they have so many lovely nail varnish collections from glitter, to wonderland, fireworks to pastels, beetlejuice to neon, their shades are gorgeous and there is most certainly one out there to suit everyone! From the glitter collection I also have the pink, gold and purple polishes and I have found they work particularly well whether adding a little glitter on top of a normal colour or whether adding a couple of coats of glitter to achiever a super sparkly look, this glitter polish works so well! I definitely recommend this one because it isn't too watery like some and the glitter actually shows up, love it!

Brand of the week: Pandora
Honestly, this could well be my favourite jewellery brand, (besides Tiffany & Co. and Swarovski). There is just something about Pandora that is so amazing! They have so many different collections and sell all manners of jewellery priced from low to high, and my favourite Pandora product has to be their charm bracelets. No matter what your into, what you like, Pandora has so many different charms to suit, they are perfect for signifying little memories and I just love to build mine full of charms that mean something to me, whether they are a gift or a little treat from me! Below is my two Pandora rings, one being my birthstone ring I got as a present for my 18th and the other a little gift from my boyfriend. Below is also my Pandora bracelet, despite being bought this by a boyfriend 2 Christmases ago it isn't particularly full! I like to keep my bracelet girly and sparkly, I'm such a fan of the flower clip, fairy and cupcake! I have also included my pick of their new "Christmas Collection" the charms are gorgeous, I absolutely love Christmas, and cannot wait to add a one or two of these to my bracelet! Do you have a Pandora charm bracelet? What are your favourite charms? :)

Beauty brand of the week: Batiste
So when I have browsed other peoples blogs I've realised that my blog is missing one weekly consistent post. So from now on I will be doing beauty/ fashion brand of the week, which will consist of my favourite brands and their products of that week! To start off with, Batiste is my beauty brand of the week, their dry shampoo range is simply a life saver! I don't know about you, but I use Batiste dry shampoo almost everyday, it smells gorgeous and is essential for giving your hair a little boost between washes. For many years now I have used either the 'coconut & exotic tropical' or 'floral and flirty blush' bottles as they smelt divine, however I noticed that although it banished the grease and left little residue, my hair was left a little flat. Recently boots had a 2 for 1 offer on the batiste range which is when I came across a new bottle, 'XXL volume' in a very attractive pink shimmering bottle so I instantly wanted to try it ... I can honestly say that the product instantly boosts your hair and adds volume without clagging up the hair or leaving residue, it also works particularly well on my fringe. If your hair is prone to grease between washes simply spray some of the product at the roots and the underneath of your hair and see the difference! Batiste also offers many other dry shampoos including colour, volumising, nourishing and original collections for different hair types, which is your favourite dry shampoo? :)

My week in pictures!
Just another post to give you a little more insight into what I have been up too in the past week! To be honest I don't really have a very exciting life but I know I absolutely love it when fellow bloggers do these sort of life posts so I hope you enjoy! What have you been up to this week? :)
Well firstly I decided to start my week with a lazy Monday! So I decided to dedicate my day to revision, pfft, I eventually messed on with my hair and curlers instead, very productive day. Wednesday I went to my first big house party, Leeds is full of huge (old and creepy) student houses and me and my uni friends decided to start our night with 18'' pizzas and pre drinks, perfect! Friday I was feeling all festive and had my first 'honeycomb hot chocolate' from Costa, seriously you need to try one of these! Mmmmmm. Saturday my family came to visit me at uni and we took advantage of the German Christmas market again seen as it was also my dad's birthday, the cost of the meal was over £70 whatttttt?! After this we did a spot of Christmas shopping, I am so lucky to be living in Leeds right now because the shopping is simply amazzzzing. I also got to come back home with them this weekend and spent some time making Christmas decorations with my little sister. Nawww!

Treat Time!
Time for a treat, or just an excuse? Hmm, genuinely this accessory caught my eye when I was walking through town, and so I went back to buy it yesterday. The other day I realised I didn't even have a clutch! Whattttt???? I really love this one and it really caught my eye because the clutch also comes with a strap to make it into a short handbag, which is super suitable and handy to use when you want to grab something out of your bag quick. The design is also especially nice, the typical envelope style clutch is made even better because of the black velvet and glitter contrast along with the gold chain, which basically incorporates all of the current trends at the moment! The price is also excellent, which is what I have found with the majority of New Look's products, at £12.99 this is such a bargain, I also used my 10% student discount to get mine for just £11.69! The clutch also comes in 2 different versions so you can choose from either black and gold glitter, or black patent croc print, and you can grab yourself one here ! :)

Product Review: Maybelline Color Show & Rimmel London Space Dust
Just a little post to share with you some nail varnishes I just tried! A while ago I was given Maybelline Color show nail varnish from my friend as a birthday present, I absolutely love it but never got around to trying it! I also bought the new Rimmel London Space Dust the other day from boots as it instantly caught my eye, I cant resist a bit of pink and sparkles... I tend to mix up my nail varnishes by using one as a bottom coat and the other (usually glitter) to add a little sparkle to the top, and I found Color show (shade 83 PINK BIKINI) and Space Dust (shade 004 Luna Love) were the perfect combination. Even if you don't try either of these shades, you should definitely check out the Color Show and space dust ranges as they have a huge array of beautiful colour shades to try! Plus, they are both just £2.99 and £3.99, a super affordable price to pay for beautiful nails! What is your favourite nail varnish shade at the moment? Have you tries anything from the ranges? :)

My Week In Pictures...
So this isn't one of my usual type of posts, but I thought that I might as well actually share an insight into my life with all my blog followers! So, below is a quick look at what I have been up too during the past week, what have you been up too recently? Enjoy! :)
Firstly, I finally jumped on the band wagon and got myself an iphone 4S, if I am honest, I used to think that there was waaaay too much hype over apple products and especially iphone's, but I absolutely love mine, my quality of life has genuinely improved massively, hehe. Here is a picture of me and my little sister Isabelle, (excuse the ridiculous facial expressions) I get so excited when my family come to visit me at uni, I get so lonely! The next picture is a bit of a random, but I was so excited to receive free candy floss from the Ted Baker shop in Leeds, nobody turns down free candy floss, right? BONFIRE NIGHT, after trying to get all of my flat mates to come to the fireworks with me, (nobody could face the freezing cold) so I called on my bestie to come with me, I love fireworks and they were amaaaaazing. Thursday was the Christmas lights switch on in Leeds, I have never been to one of these before as I come from a pretty small town, but I really enjoyed it, yet again, more fireworks! Me and my flat mate also got to see Gabriella Cilmi singing live, (she was turning the lights on) and she was brilliant! Finally, in Leeds there is an annual German Christmas market which I was super hyped up about because I absolutely LOVE Christmas, it certainly did not disappoint, just look at that food!

Happy Halloweeeeen!
Happy halloweeeen! So, I don't actually think I have dressed up for Halloween for soooo many years now but seen as I'm now a student and was going out to celebrate, I thought i'd just go for it! Instead of doing the typical 'blood splattered nurse' or quirky banana costume (like my flat mate) I decided to be more traditional and go as a cat, original, I know.... Anyway I wore a long sleeved lace black peplum top, disco pants, wedges and made my outfit a little more Halloweeny with a cat masquerade mask and a touch of fake blood :p What were you wearing this Halloween?

Eyeko London: Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner
Just a quick product review of an amaaaaaazing new freebie I got in a magazine recently... So, this eye liner promises to be easy to control on application and is said to deliver point perfection precision, obviously there are sooooo many eyeliners out there and this one retails at £10 so for a good eyeliner is pretty average, I got the product in black but it also comes in brown, blue & purple shades, and hey if it gets Alexa Chungs approval why not give it a go?! I found the product was just like any other I have tried in the past, however although I am not a fan of eyeliner, I did think this was extremely easy to apply, it was precise and didn't smudge unlike a lot of other eyeliners, it gets my approval so if your beauty regime regularly includes eyeliner you should definitely give it a go! :)

Mini Shopping Spree
My recent lack of blogging is simply awful, 2 weeks since my last post, 2 weeks!!!! Pinky promise I will start blogging more often from now on, I have just had soooo much on at university recently, boooo. Anyway, just a quick post to share with you what I bought recently on a mini shopping spree with my flatmate. Last weekend was my friends 19th birthday, and of course I couldn't just find something in my wardrobe to wear for it, I needed a whole new outfit. Problem is, I left it super last minute but managed to find this little outfit. 1. Is my new cami from Miss Selfridge, I absolutely love this as it can be worn with a skirt/disco pants or even jeans and I just love the glitter, this will be perfect for the Christmas season. 2. My velvet tube skirt, usually I wouldn't go for this type of skirt, but I reallly wanted to embrace the velvet craze right now, and the pattern is also so original. Again, this skirt can be worn over and over with different tops all year round! I wore the skirt for my friends birthday and teamed it with a cream chiffon cami, and nude Kurt Geiger cork heels, but you could be sooo experimental with this little number :). 3. Ballet pumps are a personal favourite of mine, for day to day wear, you cant go wrong with a H&M bargain. Finally 4. While in Miss Selfridge I spotted the sale jewellery (as per usual) and because I have wanted some midi rings for so long I just had to get these! What have you been buying recently? :)

VICTORIA'S SECRET HAUL
So, the other week I had my first experience of a student shopping lock in! My advice to you, if you can't afford to spend money, DO NOT GO, the temptation is unreal... although all of the free stuff and discounts of up to 30% really does compensate for the huge crowds of people in Topshop and the time spent queuing for an escalator... Anyway, along with some other things I bought, I spent most of my money in Victoria's Secret, after resisting temptation for far too long! So, I actually visited the PINK section of Victoria's Secret, because if I'm honest, £20 for a pair of nickers and £50 for a bra is just not going to happen! I managed to pick up 7 pairs of nickers for just £20, and some joggers for £39.50, although I will admit I feel a little strange for uploading pictures of my new underwear to my blog, hey, they are so pretty and vibrant I just want to show you them! PINK have such an amazing range of underwear and clothes in many different styles, designs, colours and materials, love them, you should definitely check out their range! :)

OOTN
Yes being at uni is awesome, and especially being in Leeds the nightlife is amazing!!!! But the only issue is finding enough outfits to wear every night! Anyways, I thought I would show you an outfit from what I wore at the weekend. As it is freeeeeezing cold right now, you can't go wrong with disco pants, like seriously you can wear them with anything and they keep your legs super warm, definitely a party essential. So although these disco pants have a gorgeous shimmer to the material, to keep my outfit party ready, I have teamed them with one of my cami's, this one is probably my favourite, the fuchsia pink colour is gorgeous and adds a pop of colour to your outfit, love it! And to finish my look I added some cork wedge sandals for comfort, a statement necklace and another injection of colour to my lips, the lipstick I am wearing is Revlon "Just bitten kissable" balm stain in shade "020 Lovesick Passionee" which is a perfect match to the top I was wearing, the best thing is the colour stays on your lips all night without having to re apply! :)
V neck strappy cami (Fuchsia) - £18- Topshop
Disco Pants- £30- Topshop Petite
Gold Arrow Point Necklace- £12.50- Topshop

Accessorizing!
I went out yesterday to buy some soup & a stamp, and I came back with a handbag and a ring... true story. Seriously, that's a weeks money gone already, oops! If there is one thing I love, its accessorizing, no outfit is complete without a perfect pair of shoes, a bag and jewellery, and honestly I am obsessed. Anyway, I have had my eye on this handbag for a while now but at £42, I was not prepared to pay that much, however yesterday was my lucky day as while out in town Warehouse were giving away tickets which carried four different codes, of which would offer you either 15% off, 25% off or a £50 voucher etc. on that day... and I happened to get a 25% off coupon, meaning I saved over £10 on this bag! I absolutely love the colour of this bag and the contrast of the two textures the bag is made of, a fake leather material and suede, it also comes in black and burgundy. Wallis were also holding a sale, offering 50% off certain items on that day, one of which was the ring I purchased. This ring is so beautiful and is a perfect accessory for day and night, the only problem is that like with most fashion jewellery, they can go green as the gold/silver colour can wear off, if you want to avoid this, simply give your jewellery a quick coat of clear nail varnish to ensure it is long lasting and beautiful :)

MINI HAUL
So since moving to Leeds I have to say I couldn't resist temptation from the shops! Anyway, I thought I would share with you the few bits and bobs I bought, firstly, I have my new body shop perfume! Although I absolutely love The Body Shop, I don't normally go for fruity perfumes, however when a lady in the shop gave me a free tester I absolutely loved it. I also paid a visit to Primark and got these gorgeous ballerina pumps which I thought were perfect for day and evening wear, the bow and embellishment is so cute! Thirdly are my new disco pants, at first I had literally borrowed my flat mates disco pants for 3 days and eventually decided I should maybe just buy some, so when I went to Topshop I wasn't too sure whether to buy them or not as they were £30! However, my luck was in and when I got to the till I was told they were now only £10, couldn't believe it! Seriously, if you don't have disco pants BUY SOME NOW, they are amazing when your out on a cold night as they are great at keeping you warm! Finally, it's my new jumper, I do have one similar, however, because the weather has suddenly got absolutely freezing, I decided I needed another. The colour is so cute and the material is super soft, love it!

Monsoon- Oriental Lip Balm
Recently I bought this lip balm on a shopping spree, and honestly I have fallen in love with it! I'm a big fan of lip balms, as they add a gorgeous bit of colour and gloss to your lips without daring to wear a lipstick, ensuring your makeup appears more subtle for just a daytime look. This one in particular will cost you a mere £3, which is fabulous for a lip balm! These lip balms by Monsoon, come in four different shades, and I chose 'Oriental'. The colour is a coral/pink shade and is super glossy, and what is even better is the smell is divine! Seriously I suggest you give this one a go, as its small and the packaging is beautiful, a perfect addition to your makeup bag! :)
UNIVERSITY
Yes, this is not one of my usual posts and its totally not fashion related but I love to give my followers insight into my life and what things I get up to! So, Saturday was move in day to uni! I'm at Leeds Metropolitan University, studying Marketing & Advertising Management, unfortunately my course doesn't actually start till next week, however that means 2 whole weeks of freshers! (hence my lack of blogging). But yeah, Leeds is such an amazing place, the night life is awesome and the shopping is fabulous, seriously, I am going to be broke. Not only does Leeds have supersize versions of your average Topshop/ River Island/ New Look, but the temptation of Victoria's Secret and Louis Vuitton is simply unbearable... so yes, expect a few posts of my recent spending sprees! Anyway, I thought I would share with you a few pictures of my new home and will upload some more posts soon! :)

Maybelline New York: COLOR SHOW
Firstly, I must apologise for my lack of blogging this week, I have been super busy getting sorted for uni.... I moved in yesterday so I pinky promise to keep up my blog from now on! So anyways, I just thought I would share with you some amazzzzing new nail varnish I tried this week. My friend bought these two nail polishes for my birthday but I never really got round to trying them out, they are both from the "Color Show" range by Maybelline New York and they are great! They come in loads of vibrant colours, and I happened to be given two different shades of pink in 'Pink Bikini' & the one which I am wearing in these pictures 'Bubblicious'. Not only is the colour gorgeoussss, but I have had this nail varnish on my nails for over a week now and unlike some nail varnishes which can 'fade' over time on your nails, this one has kept its vibrant colour! These nail varnishes cost just £2.99, cheap and cheerful! :)

Tried & Tested: Nails Inc & Barry M!
IM BACKKKKKK! Yesterday I got back from V festival, it was the most amazzzzing experience ever and the best time of my life! I will most certainly be doing a blog post on my festival outfits of the weekend once pictures are uploaded by my friends :) But anyway, the other day me and my 9 year old little sister decided to try out some nail varnishes together before we went on holiday but I completely forgot to blog about them! I am wearing Barry M (shade 305 Pink Flamingo), which is such a gorgeousss colour, I am such a fan of pink I just can't resist the amazing shades of nail varnishes out there and this one was bought for me be my friends for my birthday along with some other nail varnishes in the Barry M range. At £2.99 these nail varnishes really are very affordable, and I think they are just the same quality as some other brands out there, the colour is so vibrant and perfect for summer and it lasts agessss! My little sister is wearing Nails Inc ( shade"St. James") and picked this colour out herself, at £11.00 this is a lot more pricey than the Barry M nail varnish and to be honest, there is little difference! However, the nail varnish is extremely durable (she is 9 years old and it has lasted 2 weeks without much chipping!) so I would definitely recommend this product, I got this nail varnish as a magazine freebie and personally would only buy a few more shades of these nail varnishes, but if you don't want to pay a mahoosive £11 for nail polish I am sure there will be cheaper red nail varnish alternatives out there! :)

OOTD: London, Day 3
Yet again my OOTD post is late! Ooops, sorry! :) Well anyway Friday was my last day in London, which I had been excited for allll week, shopping. Firstly, we paid a visit to Covent Garden which I must say has the cutest little shops ever, and although I absolutely hate market stalls, I must admit I saw some really amazing items on the market there and was particularly excited by the MAC cosmetics store there, I honestly just thought it was only available on MAC counters in department stores! After that, we paid a visit to M & M's world which although this visit was mostly for my brother and sister, I really enjoyed it! It is like 3/4 floors of M&M's sweet merchandise and the whole place has the scent of chocolate... mmmm. I also paid a visit to the Planet Hollywood restaurant for lunch which has the most amazing food ever! Oxford and Regent street were next and I was sooooo excited, especially to visit the Topshop store in Oxford Circus.... 5 floors of shopping heaven. I literally got lost. I definitely could spend a whole day in there, faveeee place ever! I will shortly do a post on what I purchased but for now I will share with you my outfit of the day. The weather in London happened to be gorgeous on Friday, it was sunshine and soooo hot! So I opted simply for a casual, coral coloured day dress and sandals, which I accessorised with plently of bangles, a belt and other jewellery, I will also be wearing this outfit at V Festival next weekend, eeeek so excited! :)
What I am wearing:
- Coral strappy day dress- £12.99- H&M
- Belt- Primark (bought a few years ago)
- Bangles- Miscellaneous

OOTD: London, Day 1

I'm on holiday this week!!!! Yes, I still may be in England staying with family, but hey seen as they live it Kent it means I get to go to London 3 days this week! I absolutely love London, I just think there is always something going on and so many amazing places to visit, definitely my favourite city, fingers crossed I can afford to live there one day!.. Pfft...yeah right. Well anyway yesterday was my first day of the week in London, since I am visiting with family I was taken to The Science Museum (I have a younger brother), but if I am honest it wasn't too much of a boring experience! Then I got to visit Harrods AKA any girls heaven. Yes, it may be wayyyyy too expensive, but they have an amazing food hall, makeup section, perfume section and 2 rooms full of designer handbags, that's not even to mention the amazing accessories, shoes, clothes and toy section! Hehe, it is so amazing in there every time I go to London I have to go in, although my visit was some what dampened by my aching feet! Gaaahh, I WILL buy something in there one day this week, I am determined to spend my birthday money! Definitely got my eye on a Michael Kors watch... hehe, well anyway here is my Outfit Of The Day, I decided that because it was sunny/rainy weather I would stick with skinny jeans, an art deco inspired lace tee and converse for comfort, how wrong was I, a message to you all... do not ever wear Converse for the first time when your off for a huge shopping spree.. I was in agony!

REVIEW: Revlon "Just Bitten Kissable" Balm Stain
When shopping with friends in Leeds the over the weekend, we took a day to go shopping, and as we were going out on the night this was a perfect time to get some last minute essentials. My favourite way of dressing up an outfit is through adding lots of accessories and make up! I am really into having a bold lipstick for a night out as I like to keep the rest of my makeup pretty neutral, as I was wearing a fuchsia coloured top on the night I decided I would add an extra pop of colour into my outfit, which you can see my post on HERE. So, I have seen lip crayons around, but never really tried one out, so when I saw my friend was interested in one I thought I would give it a go too. I bought this lip crayon from Boots at a reduced price from £7.99 to just £5.99, which is really an average price to pay for a good lipstick, and when I tried it out I was pleasantly surprised.
The over all appeal of the product is it's vibrant colour, there are many colours in the range, but I went for a bright pink in shade "020 Lovesick Passionee". The lipstick is not only a lovely colour but it is also very shiny, which gives a glossy look to your lips, and another thing I noticed is that with this crayon you can build upon the vibrancy of the lipstick by adding more lashings of it to your lips, depending on the amount of colour you want to go for. The lip crayon literally does what it says, it really does stain your lips, which I guess is a good thing, when wearing this on my night out I found it lasted all night, despite drinking which can remove the colour quite quickly with some lipsticks, and I only really needed to re- apply once or twice. Finally, another point to comment upon is the smell of the product, I didn't notice at first but it carries a lovely minty fresh smell. I am very interested in buying another of these as I would probably only wear this on a night out, I would love to try another one in a more subtle shade for daytime :)

LEEDS!!!!
As you know from my previous posts, I spent Friday and Saturday in Leeds with my two best friends for mine and one of my friends 18th birthdays! So firstly, I thought I would share with you my outfit of the night (forgot to take pictures of my daytime outfit). None of us knew exactly what to wear as we didn't want to be too casual or too dressy, but hey it was my birthday night out! So I just decided to accessorize a lot and paid special attention to my hair and make up, I was wearing; my favourite KG shoes for the first time, I absolutely love how sparkly they are. My new cami (one in a long line of Topshop cami tops I have at the moment, oops) in a bright and girly fuchsia pink shade, a white A-line skirt with zip detail, plain yet is a cute little investment piece, and a few accessories!
V- Neck cami- (Fuchsia)- £18- Topshop
A- Line zip mini skirt- £28- Topshop
Bag (bought last year)- £28- Topshop
Statement necklace- £5.50- Topshop SALE
Handlet (Birthday present)- Topshop
Nude KG Heels- (NALA)- WAS £140- NOW £45
So the actual day/night. I had an amazing time, I was determined to do something with my friends to celebrate my 18th and this took weeks of preparation! It was also really exciting as it was our first little road trip together, the only negative being the wasp we got trapped in the car with on the motorway... and a slight issue with out hotel, meaning we had to pay for a whole other room we didn't even use (was not happy). The weather was gorgeousss the whole day so we took full advantage of it by doing a little shopping, I love Leeds for the sheer huge amount of shops there are! However, I only bought a new Revlon lipstick (as you can see in the pictures, I will review soon), some tights for the night (just in case of a fake tan disaster), some hairspray (essential for long lasting hair styles), and the top I am wearing in the pictures. Our shopping spree was then followed by a Nandos, my favourite restaurant! Then we went to the hotel to get ready for our night out, although because most of the students have gone home for summer, Leeds was a little dead, but we still had an amazing night!!!!

Nails Of The Day!
What do I do when I am bored? I paint my nails! I have sooo many nail varnishes it is unreal, I just cannot resit all of the beautiful colours out there! So what is on my nails today? I have used Topshop "Peel off nails" (shade-pink) and Models own (shade- silver fox) which can be found HERE . I am very pleased with both of these products, firstly with the Topshop nail varnish, as the colour is lovely and vibrant, and also the nature of the product being "peel off", you don't have to sit for ages with a bottle of nail varnish remover to get it off, as once peeled, the varnish comes off in one piece, easy! At £6, the price is also reasonable for this nail varnish. Secondly, the Models own nail varnish is also only £5, and unlike many glitter nail varnishes, the glitter can be applied either thick or thin, unlike some glitter nail varnishes out there which can be a bit watery. If you were wondering, my nails are not real, hehe I actually bought them from Savers for only £1.99, which is a fantastic price to pay for nails which last for weeks, and come in many different sizes to ensure you find the perfect fit for your nails! Personally, I am very happy with my nails today, I am such a girly girl and cannot resit a bright pink nail varnish, I have also released my inner magpie by adding a little sparkle to my nails.
My favourite nail varnish this week is also from Topshop, and is included in the "Matte nails" range, in the shade "drink pink", not only is this colour gorgeous, but at £6 it is not badly priced, it can be found HERE . I spotted this new nail varnish range last week when I was out shopping and I would absolutely love to try adding something different to my nails, plus it would perfectly match a new top I bought this week, this is a must buy this week so expect a review soon! :)

My 18th Birthday!!!!
So as promised, this is my 18th birthday post! Although this is not particularly fashion related, I love sharing what's going on in my life with all of my lovely followers :) ... So firstly I thought I would tell you about my weekend of birthday celebrations, they started on Friday when my mam took me shopping for my birthday presents... and for once in my life I was told that I could go in any shop I liked and could have anything I wanted... AMAZING.. I chose a beautiful gold ring encrusted with Swarovski crystals, love it! Saturday consisted of me, my boyfriend and my family going bowling... seriously it is crazy how competitive I can get over this game!.. which was followed by me persistently wasting money in the arcades (didn't win anything) and in the evening, a BBQ with more of my family. Sunday was my dad's day to see me and he organised a BBQ, and made me an amaaaazing cake, mmmmm. Finally, on Monday (my actual birthday) you will already know from my previous post "OOTD & Birthday buys!" you will know that I spent my birthday shopping in York... perfect! Below I have included some pictures of my birthday weekend! :)
And now.... the second most exciting part of my birthday... PRESENTS. I was seriously one lucky girl this birthday and although I am not one to brag, I really wanted to share with you some of my presents that I think are lovely to maybe inspire you to buy something the same! :)

New Kurt Geiger Heels!
As you might have seen from my "Birthday Wish List post" HERE , you will know I have had my eye on these shoes for a while now, and today I finally got them! I can literally say that I adore these shoes. Firstly, the jewel embellishment is simply beautiful, I'm a sucker for sparkles. Secondly, the cork heel has a glossy shine over them which makes the material a little more attractive and rather than a high skinny heel, they are likely to be a lot more comfortable to wear. Thirdly, the nude colour strap and sole means that the shoes will be diverse and can be worn with many different outfits. Finally, the style of the shoes mean that they are good for many special occasions, whether it be a garden party or a night out these will definitely come in handy over and over again, and although the platform is high, it takes the height away from the heel height, meaning they will be comfortable to wear all night! These Kurt Geiger shoes were originally marked at a pricey £120, and then reduced to £59 when I was thinking of buying them last week, however I am glad I waited, as today I bought them for £45 BARAGAIN. :)

#1 Summer Hair Care Essensial...
Although summer is my favourite time of year, the heat really messes with my hair. If your like me, and you have thick hair that is prone to frizz then you will understand my problem, because even the mere mention of the sun and heat provokes the frizz! I'm exaggerating. But honestly this is a major issue for me, as although I try to straighten my hair to tame the frizz, they just end up making my hair dry and even more vulnerable to the heat. So I decided recently to have a look for a smoothing serum to try and help to tame my hair during the summer heat, nobody wants frizzy hair, right?
This is when I discovered V05 "smoothly does it heat protect serum" which not only promises to give "sumptuously sleek frizz free shine" but also works as a heat defence serum. The product smells beautiful and it also worked really well, I found the serum was not sticky or thick which can be an issue with this sort of hair product, it made hair feel instantly soft and smooth, and did not leave hair clagged up with product. It also comes as a handy sized bottle to fit into your bag if your going out in the sun! The price was also low, and so I highly recommend you try it ! :)

Ciate nail polish "Caviar manicure"
When I first looked at the Ciate nail polishes I instantly thought that they were beautiful, they come in so many amazing colours and textures including crème, glitter, holographic, matte, pearlised, porcelain, sheer and shimmer. They also have nail varnish collections including "suncatcher", "destination party", "bottled sunshine", "treasured possessions", "complexion" and my personal favourite, the "fairground" collection which includes pink candy floss, blue ferris wheel, yellow loop the loop and purple spinning teacup colour shades to name a few.
They're products also include some amazingggg "wow kits" that consist of either "caviar", "sugar caviar", "velvet", "chalkboard" and "colourfoil" nail polish which have fantastic effects! Personally at around £9.00 per bottle, they are not particularly affordable, which slightly puts me off... however as I got yet another magazine freebie from Marie Claire July edition this month, I got two mini bottles of Ciate nail varnish free to try!
The shades I got were "caviar pearls- shooting star", and "cookies and cream" to decorate my nails. Although at first I found it hard to attach the tiny little decorative gems to my nails as they were so small and they went all over.. I did manage to stop them from falling off with a little bit of nail glue. Although I really liked these Ciate nail varnishes (especially the cute little bows which come with the other products), they did not really differ much from other cheaper alternatives, however I will be taking advantage of the 30% off voucher at Ciate that came with my issue of Marie Claire! You can also discover the wide range of Ciate products HERE :)

OOTD: Summer BBQ
Okay so this might not actually be outfit of today.. but it is an outfit from a few days a go that I wanted to share with you! So it was my Sixth Form leavers BBQ, and with many social occasions the big question is "What are you wearing?" At first, I was prepared, I had my outfit all planned out but with one issue, the morning of the BBQ was when my outfit was to be delivered, which it was.. but it was too big *sigh*, well I guess that's better than too small, right? Anyway, to solve this problem I decide to raid my wardrobe in search of an outfit which was dressy but casual, and this was the end result...
... So I had opted for a cotton, coral coloured maxi dress, (River Island) casual and perfect for summer, a timeless item that can be worn every spring and summer, love it! However, I didn't feel at first that the maxi dress alone was dressy enough, hence how I paid attention to my hair and teamed the maxi dress with the accessories below to transform my casual look into an outfit perfect for evening wear...
(Left to right)
1. MODEL Co lipgloss... no outfit is complete without a touch of lipgloss?
2. My favourite gold stud earrings.. A River Island bargain
3. All time favourite pair of shoes (I have a lot) These sandals make an appearance every summer, the jewel embellishment is gorgeoussss, bought a few years ago from Accessorize
4. Miscellaneous bangles and bracelets from my endless collection of jewellery
5. Leather Topshop handbag, I bought this last year for £28 which is a good price for real leather.. if I am honest though.. it was the tassels that attracted me!
6. My new spiral ring! Available from Miss Selfridge for £6.50
7. Primark bargain belt, although I am not really a lover of belts, it held my dress up which was too long, and the gold rings added a little something to a plain black belt.

Daily Essensials...
1. -Batiste Dry Shampoo- There is not a day goes buy that I don't use my dry shampoo, it's perfect for when you haven't washed your hair and need to add a quick boost of life into your hair. Although there are many different versions of the product for different hair colours, different sizes and different scents, I use either the "Tropical" or "Blush" version, simply because I like the smell better.. at around £2.99 a bottle it is a good price to pay for a product which lasts 3-4 weeks depending on how much you use etc.
-Schwarzkopf pro styling heat protection straightening spray- I am afraid that I am guilty of damaging my hair on a daily basis with my hair dryer/ straighteners, but what can I do when my hair is as frizzy and thick as mine? This why I at least minimize the effects of using heat appliances on my hair with a heat protection spray. I must admit, although there is a minimal amount of help these types of products can do to prevent damage, the product does smell nice and leaves hair feeling soft!
- St. Moriz fake tan mousse (medium)- I am well aware there are some amazing fake tan brands out there including St. Tropez and Fake Bake products, they carry a hefty price tag of anything around £20 per bottle, and if you use as much tan as me then you simply can't afford it. Which is why I use St. Moriz, the cheap version of St. Tropez, honestly, I think it is a fantastic quick fix to pale skin, recommended use of a fake tan mit ensures an even tan, and although the smell can be bad when you have just applied, after a wash or two it lasts all week. It works instantly which means you don't have to keep re applying everyday to see results. Finally, it is only £2.99 a bottle, amazing.
2. My daily make up regime includes;
- Nivea lip care pearl and shine- A combination of a lip moisturizer and a pink shimmer shine for your lips, a handy size to keep in your bag to keep applying through out the day.
- Rimmel London Scandal eyes flex mascara- Only just started using this product, however because my eyelashes are pretty long as they are, I usually look for a mascara which aims to add volume to lashes rather than lengthen. The thick brush ensures that volume is accentuated, love it.
- Rimmel London lasting finish foundation (201 classic beige)- I have used this for yearssss, it basically does exactly what it says, it claims to provide 25 hour foundation cover for your skin, I completely agree, it certainly fulfilled my expectations.
- Rimmel London Stay matte pressed powder (02 pink blossom)- Again a product which has been one of my favourites for a long time, at times my skin can go shiny throughout the day, and the thin texture of this product ensures cover, and a matte appearance without going patchy.
- Rimmel London Match perfection blusher (Light)- My fave blusher was discontinued, booo. However, I think this one works well for me, combining 3 different shades of prink blusher, can't go wrong!
3.- Nailene ultra quick nail glue- If your a fake nail junkie like me you will understand how hard it is keeping your falsies under control as they can flick off at any time. Luckily I found this glue, I found this was the best glue I had used as it keeps my nails on for 3-5 days without falling off!
4.- Gold series IV GHD classic styler- At £125 yes, I admit these are hugely expensive. But worth it. I have had 3 pairs already as I have had some problems with them breaking, however they come with a 2 year guarantee, and if they cant fix them you get a new pair sent to you absolutely FREE of charge. These work so brilliantly day- by- day that I have literally formed an addiction.
5.- Lola by Marc Jacobs 50ml perfume- No joke, I got this perfume Christmas 2011 and it is still only half empty, the luxurious strong scent ensures you don't need to spritz much and unlike other perfumes out there, the scent doesn't fade throughout the day. I absolutely love the scent and the bottle design is just beautiful!
6.- MAC Viva Glam (V)- If I fancy it I will use my beloved MAC lipstick, personally I feel this shade adds more to just a daytime makeup look, as the shimmer adds something extra to your lip colour, I also think this lipstick emphasises my natural lip colour particularly well.
