BIRTHDAY WISHLIST

Okay so its my 20th birthday in 9 days... I am mortified to say the least, how on earth did I get to 20 years old already! Anyway, as always I have compiled a birthday wish list of some of the items I love right now, and some bits and bobs I hope to receive for my birthday... a girls got to cheer herself up when her 20th birthday is looming, right?

PRADA CANDY EU DE NATURAL SPRAY- £39.50- BOOTS
Does anyone have a preference over the original and this natural spray version? I just cant make up my mind! reviews would be helpful ladies :)

MICHAEL KORS SUTTON BLACK DOUBLE ZIP TOTE BAG- £330- HOUSE OF FRASER
Before you all gasp in horror at the price of this handbag (as I did), my boyfriend recently bought this for me for my birthday in the House Of Fraser big brand sale with a big discount... I now don't feel as guilty receiving it hehe.

LILLI2 WOODEN PLATFORM SANDALS- £25- TOPSHOP
These are reduced from £50 at the moment and I love them! they are so perfect for summer special occasions and are an absolute bargain, im loving the topshop sale right now.. maybe a bit too much...

PAVE HEART PENDANT- £6- ACCESSORIZE
Again, the accessorize sale is one you really need to check out, this necklace is half price, and despite looking for a rose gold heart necklace in many expensive stores, I actually chose this one!

JET SET LARGE FUSCHIA LEATHER WALLET- £85- MICHAEL KORS
Okay so I am probably going to be questioned as to why I didn't get a matching purse and bag but hey ho, its good to be different. This purse really has it all, it is perfect for holding notes, coins, cards, receipts, tickets and of course random bits and bobs...but obviously the main reason I chose it is because its pink hehe.

NEVERLAND 5PCS PROFFESSIONAL MAKEUP BRUSHES- £5.65- AMAZON
If the blogging world has taught me anything, it is that real techniques brushes are not the be all and end all, in fact these replicas from amazon are a fraction of the price and are likely to perform equally as well!

DAZZLING DAISY RING- £45- PANDORA
This is my main present from my mum, ever since the daisy collection was launched I absolutely adored this ring, and don't get me started on the new rose gold collection...

CREME SHEEN CREME CUP LIPSTICK- £15.50- MAC
This is my favourite day to day lipstick, and surprisingly it is the only lipstick I have ever used all of and had to buy a new one! It gives a beautiful glossy finish with a touch of pink for the perfect natural look.

SMOCKED BANDEAU TOP- £27.99- SUPERDRY
I have never been a huge fan of Superdry as it has never been my style, however since my younger brother has started to take a liking to it, I have accompanied him on many trips to Superdry which is when I realised they do actually have some cute summery pieces that you wouldn't expect, I love the style of this top, it is completely unique and really summery!

What have you been loving recently? also what is it like to turn 20? I need some support here! haha :)

#Blogmas Day 4| Stocking fillers!

Unicorn hottie, £9, Topshop| Marc Jacobs daisy eau so fresh mini perfume, £17,99, Amazon| Minnie and Mickey pyjama set,£22| Christmas bauble pendant charm,£50, Pandora| Bow mini tablet case, £39, Ted Baker| STELLE crystal chain bracelet,£59, Ted Baker| Marabou feather bag, £45, Topshop| Babyliss curl styler, £100, ASDA|Digital penguin toe ankle socks, £3.50, Topshop| Girl Online by Zoella, £9.90, Amazon

Okay, it is now less than a month until Christmas and it's time to start making those wish lists! I always get a little stuck at this time of year as to what I want to ask for, despite wanting so much stuff all year round, when it actually comes to deciding what I want to ask for I'm lost! If like me you have the same dilemma, here is a little inspiration!

As you can tell, these stocking fillers are very girly and very much to my taste, some of this I will actually be asking for this Christmas. Whether it is a hair curler, piece of jewellery or even a pair of socks it is always nice to have a few little bits and pieces to open on Christmas day! One gift on this list I will most certainly be hoping to get is the new Zoella book, you have no idea how much I have had to stop myself from pre-ordering it at a bargain price or popping into Waterstones to grab a copy, but I want this to be my little Christmas read so I'm going to wait! As for the unicorn, I just love novelty gifts and this hottie is so cute, this is at the very top of Santa's list! Also how could I resist these cutesy penguin socks? Everyone needs a pair of Christmas socks in their stocking... these ones are 3 for £8 which I would love to mix and match with some glittery socks which I am so addicted too right now!

These pyjamas are an ultimate fave, Topshop pyjamas are so good at the moment and they have so many to chose from, but I particularly love these Mickey and Minnie mouse ones. I'm not sure if I can actually class the Babyliss curl styler as a 'stocking filler' as it is a little pricey... this is something which I really want to ask for this Christmas as I have had my eye on it for the best part of a year, it seems so simplistic and considering my hair takes forever to curl, I need it in my life!

It has become tradition for me since my boyfriend bought my Pandora bracelet and two charms 5 christmasses ago to now get a new charm every year, I absolutely love Pandora, their jewellery is amazing and their charms are beautiful, I love how every Christmas they have a new range. This year I would love to get the bauble charm, so cute! I would love to know your opinion on this fluffy bag... I saw them in River Island a while ago and since they have really grown on me, I absolutely love how girly they are but are they socially acceptable to wear in public? Let me know what you think!

Finally, who can deny a girl some perfume and jewellery at Christmas? This Ted baker crystal bracelet really caught my eye because firstly it's rose gold...my fave, and secondly the crystals are stunning! Love. As for the Daisy eau so Fresh perfume, this is such a beautiful scent, I cant get enough!

What is on your Christmas list this year? Leave me a comment below! :)

#Blogmas Day 2| #NextmasWishlist!

1. Black feather sandals, £30| 2. Premium crystal effect flower statement necklace, £28| 3. Boxy snowflake sweater, £26| 4. Faux fur across-the-body bag, £20| 5. Black sequin skirt, £45| 6. Star shaped clutch bag, £26| 7. Snowman leggings, £12| 8. Reindeer T-shirt, £15| 9. Black heavy Chelsea boots, £68| 10. Embellished neck shell top, £28.

When I got an email about the #NextmasWishlist competition I knew I just had to join in! I usually ignore emails about competitions but as a huge lover of the Next brand I was so excited to enter! Basically all you need to do is create a wish list of up to 10 Next branded items, and submit it to the Next Blogger Noticeboard- https://nbn.next.co.uk/. Then, 5 people have the chance to win 1 item from their Christmas Wishlist (picked at random), fab!

I am never too lucky when it comes to winning competitions and blog giveaways but to be honest I was planning a Next wish list post anyway! I don't know about you, but I have been getting clothes from Next since I was a small child and I still love it now! Their clothes and accessories are always such high quality and bang on trend, there is literally so much I want right now.

Since we are in full swing of the festive season now, my whole wish list is dedicated to Christmassy items, for example these snowman pyjama leggings are so adorable! As the pj's are mix and match I decided I would team it with the reindeer t- shirt, love the combo! You may also have spotted a distinct appearance of glitter and sparkle in my selection of products, the snowflake jumper is so cute, and is a subtle way of working the stereotypical Christmas jumper trend, also, the shell top is a perfect way to add a touch of sparkle to your outfit in the run up to Christmas, whether you wear it for work or for cocktails there are so many ways to wear this top, similarly this sequin skirt could be dressed up or down for any occasion!

Who can resist a few fury accessories? Faux fur is a trend which just keeps coming back again and again and I love it, this bag works the trend perfectly without being OTT, similarly these fluffy sandals are the perfect addition to your Christmas party outfit! Speaking of shoes, these Chelsea boots are divine and I have been after a pair of these for so long, I can't get enough of them right now!

Finally, the statement necklace is a must have, they go with everything and are the perfect festive touch to any outfit this Christmas...

This Week's Wishlist

Knitted fluffy crop jumper, £34, Topshop| Faux Leather Biker jacket, £58, Topshop| My Little Pony pyjama set, £22, Topshop| Black platform sandals, £20, Primark| Light blue jacquard pyjama shorts, £14, River Island| Light pink metallic split back jumper, £30, River Island

If there is anybody who shouldn't be allowed to make a weekly wish list right now, it's me. Honestly, you have no idea how much I have actually spent this week, and last week, and the week before... well, in a few days time you will when I upload my "recent buys" post, which is truly shocking. I will admit thank of late I have gotten a bit carried away with 20% student discounts, shopping lock in's and gaps between lectures and I have managed to spend a good chunk of my student loan on my new Autumn wardrobe. In my defence, the weather has literally gotten so cold recently out of nowhere, hence why I have had to revamp my entire wardrobe with new jeans, winter boots, jumpers and tees to name a few. But I pinky promise myself, once I have completed this wish list I will be happy! I will literally have to stop buying for a few weeks to cover the cost of what I have already spent but hey ho, I bet I'm not the only shop-a-holic... (my friends are just as bad as me, and very bad influences on my spending habits!).

So, this wish list is basically my winter comforts, I have literally wanted this cream fluffy jumper for the past year but never got round to buying it last winter, the other jumper is so cute, you can't really tell from the picture but it is kind of glittery as it has metallic thread in it and an open back, honestly right up my street! This leather jacket is definitely a statement piece, my current leather jacket is a bit worn now so I think it's time for a new one, the fur collar is such a great accessory for winter too. As for the Primark shoes, I really think these are such good quality and not a bad price to pay, I am not usually a fan of Primark but I must admit that these have most certainly caught my eye. Finally, the pyjamas are a must have, I have a little obsession going on at the moment with cute pyjamas and these are top of my list right now!

What is on your wish list at the moment? Check back in a couple of days to see my huge autumn haul. :)

Wish List!

Ultimate faux leather jacket, £58| Knitted fluffy crop jumper, £34| Little Mermaid print pyjama set, £22| MOTO intense blue Joni jeans, £36| Textured heart jumper, £36| Slubby tee, £16 (All Topshop)

Today I was in York shopping, and seeing people in their scarves, cardigans and coats made me think, what on earth? It's only the beginning of September! But whether we like it or not, it is time to realise that it is time to start transforming your wardrobe from Summer to the Autumn/ Winter season... or like me you'll be caught out in cropped denim jacket and gladiator sandals.

So this isn't technically my A/W14 wish list but in a couple of weeks I will be going to a student lock in at the Trinity shopping centre in Leeds, offering up to 25% off in all their stores... including Topshop! So it only makes sense to do a preliminary browse and create an actual wish list so you can dash in and grab what you want, right?

Anyway, my wish list focusses upon comfort and warmth, I am completely in love with this faux fur leather jacket, the quality is so amazing and as the leather is quite thick it will be sure to keep the warmth in, I also love the fur collar as it is also detachable for warmer months in Autumn.  These two jumpers are also particularly suited to autumnal weather, the pink heart textured jumper is a little thinner whereas the fluffy jumper is such a cute trend which has been carried through since last winter, I didn't get one last year and can't wait to get myself one now! The Joni jeans are on my wish list because although I have a pair of these, they are beginning to fade a little, they are so comfy and unlike other jeans... they never seem to go out of shape no matter how many times you wear them I love them!  The 'slubby top' is just such a causal essential, I love loungewear and I really like the lilac colour of this one! Finally, The Little Mermaid pj's are just too cute not to have, Topshop have a range of Disney pj's at the moment including Aladdin, The Lion King and also Toy Story, I need these Ariel ones so bad!
