ITS A BOOTS KINDA DAY

BLACK HEELED BOOTS- £22- GEORGE @ ASDA
With absolutely no disrespect to George at ASDA, but can you believe this is where I found these gorgeous LBB's?! A couple of days before I had been searching all over for a new pair of black boots, and could literally find nothing, then Sunday afternoon I had been doing the food shop when hey presto, look what I found!
For £22 these were a total bargain, considering I had been looking at an incredibly similar pair in Office for around £80! I would also say that the price is absolutely no reflection on the quality of these boots, they have beautiful suedette detailing, gold buckles, straps and are 100% comfy. The only thing that I would say, is that because they are not real leather, they are slightly more tight fitting, so you may need a bigger size than usual. I am usually a size 4 but I needed a 5!
In future ladies, don't judge a book by its cover, George has some amazing on-trend pieces this season... and always be sure to check out their shoe department!

ROSE GOLD DREAM

Man who doesn't just love rose gold? I must admit I can be a bit of an addict when it comes to rose gold, whether it be shoes, hangers, jewellery or paper clips I'm there. When I came across these OFFICE shoes I had to have them!

First thoughts, the price. £60 is a lot to spend on shoes you may only wear a handful of times, I am not one to usually waste money on shoes but on this occasion, 10% student discount and pay day stood in my favour!

I will admit, although I am rarely spotted wearing anything other than heels, I have never actually worn stiletto's due to the sheer fact I cannot walk in them- nor can I trust myself to walk in them without breaking my neck. I was also concerned by the fact these shoes have plastic multi straps, which again does not fill me with hope that these shoes will provide me with any comfort whatsoever. However, I bought these to wear at my 21st Birthday Party, which thankfully is in a carpeted room, of course this limits the damage I can do! I must admit that the straps are actually quite comfortable, they keep your foot secure without digging in, and are quite stretchy and flexible to avoid rubbing.

Although these are absolutely beautiful  shoes, I wouldn't recommend them for a night out...however if you're looking for a pretty pair of heels to wear for a special occasion or a short period of time then they are definitely worth a try! I will let you know how I get on...

I swear I have searched everywhere for a pair of heels for my work Christmas party for the past month and STILL haven't found the perfect pair- so if you're having the same dilemma as me I have included some of my top picks from the high street.

There seem to be so many offers at the moment- especially River Island and Kurt Geiger, my two go too places for shoes! I have tried to include shoes from a range of retailers varying from Topshop to Kurt Geiger, River Island to ALDO and ASOS.

Some of my top picks include the rose gold River Island stilletos, Leah gemstone Topshop platform sandals and the ASOS caged gladiator heeled sandals. Although I didn't get any new shoes I hope this post may help you out a little! After all there is Christmas day, boxing day, new years eve to think about...

TREAT DAY

WOMENS PEEP TOES SLING BACK MULES- £24- Peacocks

Does anyone else find that when it comes to shoes, that you can sometimes fall very easily into a rut? I end up wearing the same shoes over and over again until they are literally done! Despite being a 'shoe person', I don't actually own that many pairs, and with so many lovely shoes on the high street it can be difficult to commit to one pair in case you find a cheaper alternative!

I treated myself to these sling back mules last week, I love that these heels come with a gold plaque an a peep toe- yep I'm tying desperately to not bring out the thick winter boots just yet...

Style
These shoes are super stylish and on trend at the moment, the peep toe and sling back mule is a perfect accompaniment to skinny jeans by day, or a mini skirt by night...Although I usually wear at least 4 inch heels every day (I'm 5"3 give me a break), I wish these were higher, but they are super easy to walk in being just over 3 inches.

Comfort
The block heel means that they aren't difficult at all to walk in- although I am used to wearing heels with a platform too so these felt a little strange at first. Unfortunately a negative of these shoes was  that the peep toe shape at the front meant that they actually cut into my toes... I definitely need to wear them in!

Fit
I would say that these are a small fit- if you have thin feet your fine, but even with me being a size 4 these felt a little snug... although a 5 was too big.

Material
The non- leather material means they aren't as comfy and probably won't last too long, but for £24 they are a nice little bargain! I would mention however that they have very little grip besides the heel- so be careful when walking on carpets and slippery surfaces!

Occasion
I wore these for work, shopping and a date night with my boyfriend, and although I would usually wear something higher for a night out, these shoes are pretty much suitable for any occasion.

Price
Again, £24, cannot be robbed.

Kurt Geiger

KG HEIDI WAS £140 NOW £39

If I'm honest, I'm not the biggest shoe hoarder ever, even my boyfriend has more pairs than I do! Although I am a massive fan of shoes I just never see the point in buying more pairs as I tend to just wear the same ones, instead I buy clothes, however when it comes to the Kurt Geiger sale I just cannot resist having a peek! I always find that they have massive reductions in their sale and sell their shoes for ridiculous prices, these ones in particular we're reduced by £101!!!! I bought some shoes similar to this in the sale last year and I absolutely love them, I would never dream of buying Kurt Gieger shoes for the full price, but since they have a sale on at the moment I highly suggest you have a
Browse!

I first came across these 'HEIDI' heels when another blogger shared them on Twitter, I fell in love instantly! So after many hints to le boyf, he decided to buy them for our 4 year anniversary present! I am so lucky, these shoes are amazing!! However I must say that they are ridiculously high and I'm currently walking around his house trying to get used to them. I do love this style of shoe though, I am a sucker for heels, being only 5''3 I tend to wear heels during the day as well, but these are perfect for a night out. Well, actually I wouldn't reccomend it unless your planning on breaking a leg, so personally I would perhaps wear these for another special occasion where you can sit down a lot!

The design is amazing, they are quite unique and probably won't be to everyone's taste, but I love the star detailing, they are different from what I have ever seen before, but seen as I tend to wear black shoes and I'm a sucker for sparkles, these were perfect for me! The inner sole is also metallic gold which looks so classy and expensive and the ankle strap adds support to your feet. Althought I can't comment upon how much they hurt your feet as I haven't worn them out yet, I can definitely say they would probably cause some discomfort! No pain, no gain though, right?

What do you think of my new shoes? Did you get anything in the Kurt Gieger sale? Leave me a comment below! :)

Mini Shoe Haul

Just a very quick post to share with you the absolute beauties which are my new shoesies. Honestly I am in love with them! First of all, I was rummaging around in the New Look sale racks and didn't really come across anything that took my fancy until I hit the shoe racks. Where I found the gladiator sandal style flatforms with cleated soles, I am a huge fan of flatforms, and although I already have some from Topshop, they aren't like these... *makes excuses to justify shoe buying*, but these style of shoes are just so popular at the moment I just had to grab a pair! They were originally £29.99 and now reduced to £14.

Secondly, I found the pair on the left, which I don't really know how to describe apart from a peep- toe cleated soled, cut out ankle strapped boot type thing.. you get my drift? I particularly liked these ones even though they aren't in the sale, I have been wearing my cut out boots for so long, that I do think it is time to ditch them for the summer, and I kind of think these might be a little more appropriate as they are more open, they are the comfiest shoes ever!

If you would like to see them in more detail you can find some similar flatform gladiator sandals HERE (they don't seem to have the black ones online), and you can find the shoe boots HERE which retail for £29.99.

What have you been buying recently? Leave me a comment below! :)

This Weeks Wish List....

Hmm there are a lot of shoes in my wish list this week.... to be honest though they are all for different occasions! *trying to justify excessive shoe collection to self*... these gorgeous pink loafers which I also featured in my last post are just lovely for spring and summer, these are top of my want list at the moment! Also, I may already have some cut out boots, but I am sick of wearing the same ones, I really like these from ASOS as they are more suitable for warmer months, and finally I really like these Jelly sandals, I must admit that when I first saw these in stores I was a bit sceptical, but as I am planning a holiday in the summer I think I will definitely be wanting a pair of these for the beach! Now, onto some clothes, I will admit that I have a tendency to go for simplistic cream or pink tops, but when I saw this daisy print top it really caught my eye, it is so summery! Also #5, I have been after one of these jumpers for a while, lilac is one of my favourite colours at the moment and as it's almost time to ditch the jackets, I reallllly want this cropped jumper. Finally, there are a few accessories on my list this week, #3 daisy cross body bag is new to Topshop this week, as a bit of a bag addict it isn't surprising that I wanted this one instantly, #4 choker necklace is something that I have been after for a while but just haven't got round to buying yet, #6 ditsy bird necklace is so perfect for necklace layering, Topshop have quite a few of these at the moment, including birds, fly's and mini elephants, and last but not least is a nail varnish, I really love experimenting with nail varnishes, I just can't resist the colours available, Topshop have such a lovely array of colours in their affordable collection! What do you think? :)
